“To utilize the available manufacturing resources more efficiently and to bring our innovative machining processes to life, we need to ensure optimal and successful application of the cutting technology. ModuleWorks are the recognized experts in this field, and we’re excited to have them on board as a partner”, explains Marko Stugbäck, Software Manager for Digital Machining Business at Sandvik Coromant. “ModuleWorks’ unique position as a component provider with a big reach in the global manufacturing industry makes them a highly valuable partner in our mission to share our innovations with the market faster by making them available as native CAM-strategies for any CAM solution”.

The fruits of the partnership are already available in the new and patented PrimeTurning™ methodology that increases efficiency and productivity by providing turning in all directions. With PrimeTurning™, together with the Sandvik Coromant CoroTurn® Prime turning tools, you can achieve faster material removal rates, accelerated job throughput and higher productivity. ModuleWorks also developed secure G-code generation software for the PrimeTurning™ method with versatile and easy-to-use parameterization for fast and flexible job setup with different tools and machines.
